I started Hairdressing back in 1999 at the young age of 15 as a school holiday salon assistant where my sister was doing her apprenticeship.

From thar moment a career in Hairdressing was set in stone for me.

My Husband Jamie and I bought Zibido in 2006. 

Owning our own salon has given us the opportunity to create our own path in our industry, and to help guide others.

My passion is training my staff, seeing them thrive amd take on any challenges head on.

I'm a creative at heart so love anytime a bright client sits in my chair. I specialise in anything colour, Great Lengths Keratin Extensions, and precision cutting.

Jamie and I have two kids at totally different stages in life, one at tech the other primary school; two beautiful doggos (my babies) and a cat.

My creative brain never stops so I love a good photoshoot. I love spending time with my family and friends. My happy place is either relaxing at the beach or at a concert.

My journey into hairdressing started in 2014. My interest in hairdressing helped me by developing relationships and friendships whilst building confidence in my social, creative and artistic side which flourished over the years and gave me many opportunities within the hair industry and enhanced my skill set as a hairstylist.

I love being in an environment that I enjoy and can be creative such as dabbling with all kinds of trendy colours and styles especially balayage and blondes and a few funky brights.

Outside the salon, I usually spend my leisure time being active at the gym, love spending time with my whanau and friends, and being outdoor gardening. Deep down I'm a homebody girl and love to be in the comfort of my home catching up with TV shows, animes and playing video games.

CJ (Caitlin) / Intermediate Hair Stylist

I started in 2020, and I’ve always been a hairdresser at heart, even cutting girls hair over the school rubbish bin at the back of class in high school.

I specialise in Balayage, Shag/Butterfly cuts and would love to see more bright clients in my chair.

My favourite thing about hairdressing is big changes and transformative styles. Outside of work I like to play with my cats, play cozy video games, and go to brunch with my loved ones.

In 2022 I became a hairdresser because I love making people feel great about themselves and the creative opportunities it brings.

I love photoshoots and blondes! Outside of hairdressing I like to paint, pamper and adventure.

Pip // Senior Hair Stylist

I started hairdressing in January 2004. I love being with "my people" and especially the vibe of a busy late night that is is humming with the team. I like to do as much industry stuff as possible like fashion week and assessing apprentices.

We have our two cats at our home we're renovating and love to spend time with family and friends

I started hairdressing in 2015. During study at Wintec, I completed work experience at Zibido and on graduating, joined Zibido and have been here my whole career.

I love hairdressing because every day brings something different. My passion is creating beautiful healthy blondes.

Outside of work I love spending time with my friends and family. 

Alescha // Senior Hair Stylist

I started my career in 2010. As a teen I thought my hairdresser was the coolest person from hair to style, seeing her drew me into the world. I became a hairdresser for the creative outlet but learned fast it about making people feel their best. 

My passion in hair is creative cutting, including your curly hair girls, and creative colour. Absolutely love getting someone who wants rainbow hair in my seat.

I absolutely love live music, and go to any concert I can.

Jess // Junior Hair Stylist

I started in 2022 and became a hairdresser because i saw the vibe of this salon and the family environment within Zibido and the hairdressing community and wanted to be a part of it.

My favourite thing about hairdressing is learning something new every day and getting to give clients the hair that they love and being creative with it, and my hobby outside of work is cars.

I'm one of the Qiqi specialists in the salon.

I love creating beautiful blondes and stunning brights. A highlight of my career was being a finalist in my first ever photoshoot for Industry Awards Hotshot of the Year.
