I fell in love with hairdressing back in 1999 at just 15, starting as a school holiday assistant in the very salon where my sister was completing her apprenticeship. From that moment, I knew this industry was where I belonged.

In 2006, my husband Jamie and I took a leap and purchased Zibido. Owning our own salon has allowed us to carve out our own path, build an incredible team, and create a space where creativity and growth thrive.

Education is a huge part of who I am. I’m proud to be Head of Education for BKT New Zealand Haircare HTeam, as well as an educator for Great Lengths. I genuinely love sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and helping stylists build confidence and elevate their skills. Watching my team grow and take on challenges is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

As an award-winning stylist, I specialise in creative colour, Great Lengths keratin extensions, and precision cutting. I’m a creative at heart—give me a bold transformation or a photoshoot concept and I’m in my element.

Outside the salon, life is beautifully busy. Jamie and I have two kids at very different stages (one an Architect Drafter, one in intermediate), two much-loved dogs, and a cat. When I’m not creating hair, you’ll find me soaking up time with family and friends, at the beach, or front row at a concert—my ultimate happy places.

My journey into hairdressing started in 2014. My interest in hairdressing helped me by developing relationships and friendships whilst building confidence in my social, creative and artistic side which flourished over the years and gave me many opportunities within the hair industry and enhanced my skill set as a hairstylist.

I love being in an environment that I enjoy and can be creative such as dabbling with all kinds of trendy colours and styles especially balayage and blondes and a few funky brights.

Outside the salon, I usually spend my leisure time being active at the gym, love spending time with my whanau and friends, and being outdoor gardening. Deep down I'm a homebody girl and love to be in the comfort of my home catching up with TV shows, animes and playing video games.

I began my hairdressing journey in January 2004, and from day one I’ve loved the energy, creativity, and connection this industry brings. I’m an award-winning stylist who thrives on being surrounded by “my people”—there’s nothing better than the buzz of a busy late night in the salon, music on, the team humming, and everyone doing what they love.

I’m passionate about staying involved in all aspects of the industry, from working behind the scenes at Fashion Week to assessing apprentices and helping shape the next generation of talent. Being part of the bigger picture of hairdressing is something I truly value.

Outside of the salon, life is full and fun. I have a beautiful boy, Zach, who keeps me on my toes, and at home we have two cats while we take on the adventure of renovating. I love spending quality time with family and friends—those moments are just as important as the time spent behind the chair.

I began my hairdressing career in 2010, inspired as a teen by my own hairdresser—she was effortlessly cool, from her style to her creativity, and I knew I wanted to be part of that world. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something more meaningful: helping people feel confident, seen, and their absolute best.

Now an award-winning stylist, I specialise in creative cutting—especially for my curly-haired clients—and bold, expressive colour. Give me a rainbow transformation and I’m in my element. I love working with clients who are ready to have fun with their hair and trust the process.

I’m also passionate about continuing to grow within the industry, staying inspired, and bringing fresh ideas back to the salon floor.

Outside of work, I’m all about good energy and great music. You’ll find me at any live concert I can get to, soaking up the atmosphere. At home, life is just as full with my furbaby Bax, who keeps things fun and keeps me company when I’m not behind the chair.

I began my hairdressing journey in 2022, inspired by the incredible vibe, strong team culture, and family environment at Zibido. From the moment I stepped into the salon—and the wider hairdressing community—I knew this was something I wanted to be part of.

Since then, my passion and dedication have seen me achieve some amazing milestones. I was honoured to win the Curate Awards—the first time ever awarded in New Zealand—as well as being named a Finalist for AHIA Apprentice of the Year 2025. I’ve also been proud to be a Finalist in the NZ Hair Awards in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

I love that no two days in this industry are ever the same. I’m constantly learning, growing, and getting to create hair that makes my clients feel confident and beautiful. I specialise in blondes and lived-in colour, and I’m also one of the salon’s BKT Nanoplasty and Great Lengths specialists.

Outside of the salon, I’m all about cars—it’s a huge passion of mine—and spending time with my family, who mean everything to me.
